Secure, open interfaces allow SLAs to be defined, provisioned, assured, analyzed, reported and managed by existing systems. The EchoVault server accepts west-side order handling, service definition and assurance requests from existing provisioning and monitoring systems, performs the requested actions, then provides SLA KPIs, performance reports, traffic / billing statistics and data access via east-side XML and Oracle-client interfaces. The EchoVault is fully interoperable with popular management and analysis platforms, including HP OpenView, MicroMUSE/Netcool, COGNOS, Granite Systems, Business Objects, Concord and EMC/smarts.
